Travel photographer? Then check out the first Macallan Masters Of Photography competition in partnership with VisitScotland. The competition invites entries that “celebrate the theme of ‘great journeys’ from travels or a special moment showing a passage of time from one stage to another.” The Speyside single malt launched the competition inspired by the Albert Watson edition of The Masters of Photography and his interpretation of the journey of The Macallan’s oak casks. The top ten photographs will be voted by the public and then judged by Albert Watson. He will choose a first, second, third and a highly commended entry. Prizes will include the ultimate trip to Scotland; Nikon digital camera equipment and a 12-month subscription to Digital Camera magazine. The competition’s closing date is April 29, 2011.
