Hotels-live.com - A pastel sky of oranges and purples as the sun sets over the Bay of Fires. @Chris_Pixels described this particular evening as the most amazing sunset he’d ever seen. The Bay of Fires, on Tassie’s East Coast, is famous for its turquoise waters, pristine beaches and the vibrant, orange lichen that covers the granite boulders along its shores. It is one of Tassie’s most popular conservation reserves and runs along the coast from Binalong Bay in the south to far reaches of Eddystone Point in the north. It’s the perfect spot to spend a weekend discovering the many walking trails, secluded coves, and endless white sand beaches.
