BlackBerry Travel App

The BlackBerry Torch. Research In Motion (RIM) has developed the BlackBerry Travel app with WorldMate, a mobile travel expert. This new app was designed to enable BlackBerry smartphone users to plan, book and manage their travels and itineraries while on-the-go. The BlackBerry Travel app offers push notifications and integration of travel itineraries, profiles, and flight status updates into the BlackBerry Calendar. When a new booking confirmation or itinerary arrives in the smartphone user’s Inbox, the app updates for easier travel planning and management. The BlackBerry Travel app features include: Hotel booking; Currency converters; Weather forecasts; Local searches and Sharing travel information with colleagues, friends, family over email or through LinkedIn.
