New Copenhagen Festival

From hotels near Copenhagen Train Station and restaurants to design and shopping, this green city is a favorite place. This February, the city will become even cooler with the launch of the new festival WonderCOOL. Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the Danish Design Centre, Copenhagen Fashion Festival, Copenhagen Cooking and new FROST rock festival are teaming up with Wonderful Copenhagen to create WonderCOOL. “The goals are clear – to bring more life and more tourists to the city during the winter months,” say festival organizers. Every year, in the first quarter, Copenhagen hotels suffer from low occupancy rates of around 50%. The festival venues offer conveniently located accommodation like hotels near the Danish Design Centre. WonderCOOL will blend fashion, design, music and gastronomy with events like Copenhagen Cooking Winter Edition. FROST, a new rock festival, will feature famous artists and lesser-known rock names from Denmark and abroad. Some 50 of the city’s restaurants are joining forces on a fashion/gastronomy event.
